Dry Dog Food Morsels
Ingredients:
-
2 cups of ground beef.
-
4 cups of whole wheat flour.
-
3 eggs.
-
1 tablespoon of yeast.
-
3 cups of white flower.
-
1 cup of wheat germ.
-
2 cups of powdered milk.
Preparation Instructions:
Grab the yeast and dissolve it in 1 cup of water at warm temperature in a bowl. Once the yeast has dissolved in the water, add the remaining ingredients to the mix until a paste is formed (if it is too dry to form the paste add water little by little). The next step is letting the dough rest for half an hour or so (this will allow the yeast to rise). Now roll the dough on a floured surface with a rolling pin (don’t make the dough too thick) and cut it into square morsels.
Finally, place the morsels in the oven at 350º for 45 minutes. Serve to your dog once they have cooled down. If there are leftovers you can store them in a well closed container.
As you see, it is easy to make homemade dry dog food that is both natural and nutritious.
